Power Glory charges up for further growth

Yichang has many leading companies in their respective industries, with Power Glory Technology Co., Ltd. being one of them. Power Glory is China’s largest producer of lithium manganese button batteries. Their newly built 25,000 square meter plant is equipped with the world's most advanced automated production line. Once put into use, the new plant will increase production efficiency by about three times, building a strong foundation for Power Glory to continue their growth in 2024.

In 2011, Power Glory Technology settled down in Xiaoting District, Yichang. At the beginning, the company used an Original Equipment Manufacturer model. With a limited volume of orders, they developed slowly.

Since 2005, they have been customizing high-performance batteries and adaptable power supplies for clients. The new ultra-high-capacity and ultra-high-power batteries put the company on a steep growth trajectory. They have received orders from world-class clients such as Energizer, Toshiba and BOE.

In 2016, the company’s output value surpassed 1 billion yuan (US$13.99 million) and they became the largest primary lithium battery manufacturer in China.

Power Glory’s products are widely used in China's ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) Card. ETC is a system that automatically and wirelessly collects toll road fees. Their button batteries occupy a large percentage of the domestic ETC card market.

In 2022, Power Glory’s revenue reached 360 million yuan, an increase of 18 percent year on year. In the first half of 2023, their revenue reached 185 million yuan, an increase of about 13 percent over the same period last year.
