The typical ship types to be built here include direct river and sea freighters, inland river bulk carriers, dual-purpose liquefied natural gas distribution ships, and dual-purpose ordinary distribution ships. The park also includes new energy ships, such as lithium-powered unmanned boats.
The industrial park is built along the Yangtze River. To protect the embankment, the shipyard had a chute-based launch design. The new ship will go up first and then slide down through the chutes to enter the river without damaging the riverbank.

The park is designed to foster a modern ship industry chain integrating R&D, manufacturing and support facilities. At full capacity, it is expected to produce 14 ships annually with a total output of 80,000 tons.
