An Yichang-based company recently launched a new health-focused drink made from fish mint. Free from additives, the drink blends the fresh aroma of orange peel with the nutritional benefits of fish mint.

Yiyang Group’s newly updated production line is running at full capacity, producing 40,000 cans of fish mint drinks per hour, with plans to distribute nationwide.

Fish mint is believed to offer several health benefits, including detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. In recent years, Yiyang Group has refined the flavor of its fish mint drinks, making their taste more appealing to the public.
Beyond drinks, fish mint has been transformed into various other products, including toothpaste, facial masks and skincare items. A new freeze-dried production line, with an investment of 10 million yuan (US$1.38 million), is set to open in the second half of this year.
The greenhouses at Yiyang Group's cultivation base are optimized with integrated water and fertilizer systems, combined with automated lighting and temperature controls to improve the quality of fish mint.
Currently, Yiyang Group has six production lines and expects sales to exceed 500 million yuan this year.
