Juzhi New Material, located in Yichang's Baiyang Industrial Park leads China's polyester sector, among six domestic producers of self-developed PETG/PCTG.

PETG, a transparent, non-crystalline copolyester, offers exceptional clarity, toughness, and chemical resistance, making it ideal for food packaging, cosmetics, 3D printing, and industrial applications like cable insulation. However, due to stringent processing requirements, China long relied on imports, mostly from the U.S. and South Korea.

Founded in December 2020, Juzhi New Material closed this gap by prioritizing R&D. “We invested heavily in innovation, securing six invention patents and 14 utility models,” said Peng Junxiang, head of product development. In 2024, the company launched eco-friendly GX302/GX303 pellets, which replace adhesives in shoe manufacturing and serve automotive and textile markets.

Juzhi now supplies customers in more than 10 provinces and exports to Southeast Asia. With plans to replace imported high-end polyester materials, the company is helping drive China’s self-sufficiency in advanced polymer production.
