According to current bookings, flights from Yichang to popular cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Kunming, Urumqi, Chengdu, Haikou, Xiamen, Fuzhou, and Guiyang are in high demand.

During the holiday period, the airport will operate 254 flights to 44 destinations at home and abroad.

A total of about 31,000 passengers are expected to travel through the airport.

International flights will continue to connect Yichang with Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Seoul, Singapore, and Hong Kong, with around 1,500 estimated international passengers.

Three to four round-trip flights per day will link Yichang with Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Kunming, while two round-trip flights per day will connect the city with Guangzhou, Chengdu, Taiyuan and Guiyang.

To celebrate the festival, traditional activities such as zongzi wrapping, herbal sachet crafting and colorful thread weaving will be held at the airport on the day of the Dragon Boat Festival, allowing passengers a festive and cultural travel experience.
