Yichang opens and resumes five new routes

The summer travel peak season is approaching, and Sanxia International Airport will add three new tourist routes and resume two others with increased frequency.

New routes:
·DZ6263/4 Yichang–Xining, Donghai Airlines
Starting June 24, the flight will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

·JD5061/2 Lijiang–Yichang–Jinan, Capital Airlines
Starting July 1, the flight will operate daily.

·GS6641/2 Hohhot–Yichang–Fuzhou, Tianjin Airlines
Starting July 1, the flight will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Resumed or higher frequency routes:
·GS7867/8 Tianjin-Yichang-Sanya, Tianjin Airlines
Starting June 30, the flight will resume operation on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

·JD5801/2 Haikou–Yichang–Shijiazhuang, Capital Airlines
Starting June 30, the flight will resume operation on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
 

Sanxia International Airport

This summer, Sanxia International Airport is expected to handle more than 90 daily flights and over 10,000 passengers daily, mostly students, tourists, and visitors. A total of more than 5,500 flights are anticipated, transporting over 680,000 passengers. Popular summer destinations include Beijing, Chengdu, Kunming, Shenzhen, and Guiyang.
