Stage set for major microbial agent plant

By June 29, site leveling was completed for a 500 million yuan (US$69 million) microbial agent plant at Wufeng National industrial Park.
Construction is set to begin on Hubei Fuyou Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd.'s microecological microbial agent manufacturing project.
The first phase of the project involves an investment of 280 million yuan which will establish a 230 mu (15.3 hectares) production base to manufacture plant protection microecological microbial agents, said Liao Xiaoman, assistant to the company’s chairman.
This phase includes two fully automatic microbial agent production lines and two compound microbial fertilizer production lines. Once operational, it will have an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of green products, with an estimated annual output value of 450 million yuan.
The second phase of the project will involve the construction of an additional 270 mu production base for animal and plant protection as well as soil remediation.
Fuyou Agriculture is a key player in the " kitchen-to-field" industry chain of Angel Yeast, which is the world’s second largest yeast producer.
Fuyou Agriculture has meticulously established an ecological system integrating material cycles, technological cycles, and industrial cycles.
Angel Yeast produces organic waste such as molasses fermentation concentrate, sugar residue, and biogas residue every year. Fuyou Agriculture will process over 90,000 tons of this organic waste each year.
The company plans to collaborate with Angel Yeast to build a bio-agricultural industrial park in Wufeng National Industrial Park, aiming to form a comprehensive industrial ecosystem.
Currently, Fuyou Agriculture is promoting the deep integration of organic waste resource utilization and soil health management through the innovative practice of "microbial technology + circular economy.”
