Yiling District Football Park began trial operations on July 15 on what they’re calling “drone airports,” which will help with park inspections.

This fully automated inspection system, named “Lotus Lantern,” supports industrial inspections and urban management through the use of intelligent drones for remote inspections, data transmission, and report generation.
The system was developed by Hubei company I-KINGTEC Co., Ltd.
The design combines traditional Chinese visual elements of lotus flowers opening and closing with modern drone technology. It won a gold medal at the 2024 MUSE Design Awards.
