Yichang enterprises win big orders at national service trade fair

Yichang companies have secured six major projects worth over US$100 million at the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).
Organized by the Yichang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, 80 enterprises from the city are taking part in the event, which runs from September 10 to 14 at Beijing’s Shougang Industrial Park.
Co-hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce and Beijing Municipality, CIFTIS is a key platform for openness, cooperation, and innovation in global trade in services. The 2025 fair, held under the theme “Global Services, Shared Prosperity,” features summits, exhibitions, forums, business talks, and other events showcasing the latest industry trends.

According to the Yichang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, as a national model city for service outsourcing, Yichang achieved an executed contract value of over US$2.1 billion in 2024, up nearly 39 percent year-on-year. From January to July, its 805 enterprises reached an executed contract value of US$1.69 billion, an 11.5 percent increase.
