Zhijiang has installed digital "identity cards" on 34 ancient trees, each featuring a durable nameplate linked to a comprehensive electronic file.

Made from corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy, these nameplates are designed to last. Each includes a unique QR code that provides instant access to essential information, such as the tree's registration number, species, and age. Users can also access detailed information, including photographs and descriptions of each tree.
The nameplates are suspended using a telescopic spring wire to protect the ancient trunks. Positioned 1.8 to 2.4 meters above the ground, they are easily readable while allowing space for continued growth.

Additionally, the Zhijiang Forest Resources Monitoring Station has sent technicians to clear weeds, remove insect eggs, and repair boreholes caused by insects around the ancient trees. The bureau has assigned a dedicated caregiver to each tree and conducts regular inspections and patrols. Timely rejuvenation and restoration work is also underway for aging, weakened trees.
