Supplied by Hubei Pinguan Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd., an emerging player in Yidu's citrus sector, the fruit is processed on an advanced automated sorting line that handles up to 6 tons per hour. The system checks each tangerine’s weight, color, surface quality, and sugar content while automating pallet unloading, boxing, and packaging.

"Yidu tangerines have thin skin, tender flesh, and a balanced sugar–acid ratio," said Yang Jun, general manager of the company. "Our intelligent sorting system can sort them according to the requirements of customers and supermarkets, greatly enhancing product value."

During a recent promotion event, the company signed a partnership with Sunfare International limited to jointly expand into global markets. Sunfare has over 30 years of experience in China’s citrus sector.

Yidu is home to 300,000 mu (20,000 hectares) of citrus orchards, producing more than 700,000 tons annually.
