Yichang Brunp Recycling's electricity use soared by 385.74 percent, as the company's lithium-ion battery materials and waste battery recycling lines achieved stable production. Yichang CORNEX operated all 13 production lines at full capacity, resulting in a 138.68 percent increase in annual consumption. Sanning Chemical's integrated amide and nylon new materials project experienced growth exceeding 20 percent.

This increase outpaced gains in the primary and tertiary sectors. Within the secondary industry, the green chemical sector accounted for nearly half of the growth, with consumption rising 11.49 percent (888 million kWh), contributing 4.78 percentage points to overall industrial expansion.
High-tech and equipment manufacturing emerged as the fastest-growing segment, led by the battery sector. Electricity consumption surged over 47 percent, adding 945 million kWh, marking the largest absolute increase across all industries.
