Yichang Sanxia Airport Launches Summer-Autumn Schedule with Eight New Routes

The 2026 summer-autumn aviation season at Yichang Sanxia International Airport runs from March 29 to October 24, introducing eight new domestic and international routes.
Seventeen airlines will operate 41 passenger routes this season, connecting 50 destinations in China and abroad.
New services include direct flights to Kuching (Malaysia) and Vientiane (Laos), as well as domestic routes to Hohhot and Moutai. Additional connections feature Shenyang–Yichang–Nanning, Haikou–Yichang–Xining, Shijiazhuang–Yichang–Zhanjiang, and Lhasa–Yichang–Xuzhou.

The airport has expanded its offerings with Xizang Airlines and China Express Airlines adding multiple routes. Chang'an Airlines and Donghai Airlines will also establish operational bases in Yichang, significantly increasing capacity for the season.
Service frequencies will be boosted to popular destinations such as Kunming, Dalian, Shanghai, Nanning, Zhuhai, Lanzhou, Xuzhou, Xi'an, and Guiyang, enhancing the airport's route network.
On major trunk routes, the airport will maintain strong schedules: three to four daily flights to Beijing, two to three daily to Shanghai, twice daily to Guangzhou, three times daily to Shenzhen, and twice daily to Chengdu, ensuring sufficient capacity for passengers traveling between major cities.
