Bonded zone posts 70% trade growth

As of March 12, Yichang Comprehensive Bonded Zone reported a bonded business import and export value of approximately 551 million yuan (US$79 million), a 70 percent increase from the previous year.
In the first quarter, key enterprises in Yichang capitalized on opportunities to stock their bonded warehouses for export.
Xingfa Group, China's largest phosphates firm, and Yihua Group, the nation's leader in nitrogen fertilizer, plan to transport products to the Yichang Comprehensive Bonded Zone and Yichang Sanxia Bonded Logistics Center for temporary storage.
By the end of March, Xingfa is expected to deliver 13,000 tons of phosphates and silicone rubber valued at around 130 million yuan, while Yihua is scheduled to move in 18,000 tons of PVC worth about 100 million yuan.

This system provides tax incentives, streamlines tax refund processes, shortens capital turnover cycles, and reduces financial pressure.
To facilitate the entry of large quantities of goods, Yichang Comprehensive Bonded Zone and Yichang Customs permit enterprises to deliver goods in batches and complete centralized customs declarations, significantly enhancing customs clearance efficiency.

Both locations also provide basic processing services, including palletizing and loading and unloading. Goods are promptly unloaded upon arrival and stored systematically, with a maximum daily handling capacity of 2,000 tons.
