The event drew over 2,000 participants from more than 800 teams nationwide across three categories: Team, Open and Family. The Team and Open competitions use two-person rafts on a 6.5-km white-water course, while the Family category uses four-person rafts on a 4.7-km leisure cave-drifting course.
Chaotianhou Rafting is a 6.5-km course with a 148-meter drop. The scenic area is a National AAAA attraction — the second-highest level — and a provincial-level tourism resort.
