City airport adds flights for summer season

Yichang Sanxia International Airport has added more flights on the Yichang–Beijing and Yichang–Shenzhen routes for the 2026 summer travel season.
 

Air China has added flights on the Yichang-Beijing Capital route, and Donghai Airlines has increased frequencies on the Shenzhen-Yichang-Beijing Daxing route. Following the adjustments, the Yichang-Beijing route has four daily flights, rising to six on peak days, with service to both Beijing Capital and Beijing Daxing airports. The Yichang-Shenzhen route now has three to four daily flights, served by Donghai Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines, with a flight time of around 2 hours.

Discounted fares are available on the Yichang-Beijing and Yichang-Shenzhen routes during summer, starting from 520 yuan (US$76). The airport advises passengers that flight schedules and fares are subject to change; tickets should be checked and purchased through official channels.
