A rail-sea freight train carrying 25 containers of PVC products departed Yichang's Zhicheng Port on August 21, bound for India via Fuzhou Jiangyin Port in Fujian Province. The shipment marked the launch of Yihua Group's first dedicated rail-sea export route linking Zhicheng Port and Jiangyin Port.

The service uses a "one-container-to-the-end" model. Containers are sealed at the bonded zone and transported directly by rail to Jiangyin Port for loading onto ships, eliminating intermediate transshipment.

The new route cuts transit time by 10 days compared with the previous river-sea route while also reducing overall logistics costs.

Yihua's PVC products are exported to more than 50 countries, with major markets in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The new rail-sea route will provide Yichang's chemical industry with more logistics options while strengthening Yihua's supply chain reliability in international markets.
