Yichang airport adds nine international routes

Yichang Sanxia International Airport announced a major expansion of its international network, with nine routes launching or resuming to destinations in Russia, South Korea, and four Southeast Asian countries.
The services include seasonal charter flights and scheduled routes aimed at supporting business travel, tourism, and economic exchange. Some will operate on rotating schedules to better match capacity with demand.

Yichang Sanxia International Airport.Yakutia Airlines will operate flights between Yichang and Khabarovsk, and resume service to Vladivostok. Both routes will operate once a week on Saturdays from September 12 to November 14.
Jin Air will operate the Yichang–Incheon route from September 17 to October 11 on Thursdays and Sundays. Beginning October 12, Monday and Friday flights will be added, bringing the service to four flights a week through November 29. Tickets for the Incheon route are now available online.
Aero K Airlines will launch flights between Yichang and Cheongju, operating on Mondays and Fridays from October 2 to November 27.
Air Changan will introduce direct routes from Yichang to four Southeast Asian countries. Flights to Kuala Lumpur will begin September 11 and operate on Fridays, while flights to Kuching will begin September 18 and also operate on Fridays. The Vientiane route will begin September 12, with flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
Flights to Bangkok and Manila will begin September 13. The two routes will operate on a rotating two-week schedule. In one cycle, Bangkok flights will operate on Tuesdays and Sundays while Manila flgihts on Thursdays. In the next, Manila flights will operate on Tuesdays and Sundays and Bangkok flights on Thursdays.
The rotating schedule is designed to give airlines greater operational flexibility while providing more direct travel options for passengers from western Hubei and surrounding areas.
With the latest expansion, Yichang Sanxia International Airport will have 11 international and regional routes, including its existing services to Hong Kong and Singapore.
