A signing ceremony for China-foreign vocational education cooperation projects was held during the opening ceremony. Eleven vocational colleges from six Chinese provinces signed 12 international cooperation agreements with institutions from seven Belt and Road partner countries: Malaysia, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Cambodia, Kazakhstan, and Bangladesh. The projects cover several areas, including the joint establishment of Jingchu Workshops at overseas engineering and technical colleges, joint international talent development, international industry-education integration, and China-foreign cooperative education programs.

The forum features four major sub-topics, including Experience and Prospects on China-Southeast Asia Vocational Education Cooperation, International "Chinese + Skills" Collaboration, and Vocational Education Transformation and Reskilling Driven by New Industries and New Technologies. It aims to promote deeper Belt and Road cooperation in vocational education.
