Yichang–Cheongju service resumes as holiday cross-border traffic set to rise 20%

Flight RF8153 landed at Yichang Sanxia International Airport at 3:56 pm on October 2 with 136 passengers, resuming international passenger service between Yichang and Cheongju, South Korea.

Carrying 136 passengers, flight RF8153 from Cheongju, South Korea lands at Yichang Sanxia International Airport on October 2.
Operated by South Korean carrier Aero K using Airbus A320 aircraft, the service runs on Mondays and Fridays. Flight RF8153 departs Cheongju at 2 pm. Beijing time and arrives in Yichang at 4 pm. The return flight, RF8163, leaves Yichang at 5 pm and reaches Cheongju at 9:05 pm.
During the seven-day National Day holiday, the airport is operating 10 international and regional passenger routes, serving destinations including Bangkok, Thailand; Vientiane, Laos; Manila, the Philippines; Incheon and Cheongju, South Korea; Kuala Lumpur and Kuching, Malaysia; Vladivostok and Khabarovsk, Russia; and Hong Kong, China. Total inbound and outbound passenger traffic is expected to reach 4,800, up 20 percent from the same period last year.

During the seven-day National Day holiday, inbound and outbound passenger traffic is expected to rise 20 percent year-on-year.
