Yichang C6 Cross-border Shopping was jointly developed by Yichang Industrial Investment Group and the Yichang High-Tech Zone Management Committee. It is the first offline cross-border self-pickup store in a prefecture-level city in Hubei, named after its location in Zone C6 of the Yichang Comprehensive Bonded Zone. Since opening in 2022, it has offered more than 20,000 products from nearly 100 brands across over 30 countries.

The new smart display cabinet is located on the first floor of Wuyue Plaza in Jingzhou. Consumers can view and try sample products on-site, place orders online, and receive their purchases the next day. Products are shipped from the Yichang Comprehensive Bonded Zone under customs supervision.

Yichang C6 offers a zero-import tariff policy for every shopper within a quota, with 70 percent off on consumption and value-added tax. Each consumer may spend up to 26,000 yuan (US$3,662) per calendar year, with a single-purchase cap of 5,000 yuan. Prices are generally 30 to 50 percent lower than regular market prices.

Gao Guangli, the project manager, said C6’s expansion into Jingzhou enriches the latter’s supply of high-quality imported goods and promotes connectivity among regional consumer markets.

Yichang C6 has already established five smart display points in the city’s major commercial areas, transportation hubs, and scenic spots. It plans to expand further to neighboring Jingmen and Enshi.
