The Yuan'an flower-drum opera, or Huaguxi, took center stage at the Peach Blossom Island cultural carnival, with nearly 1,000 attendees enjoying the blend of traditional and modern art. Listed as a national intangible cultural heritage of China, Huaguxi is a vibrant art form popular across Hunan, Hubei, Anhui, and Zhejiang provinces.
