Harvest Festival opens with rural performances, exhibitions

On September 21, Zigui County hosts the opening of the Yichang section of the 2025 Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival.
The celebration features two main sections: local villagers' performances along rice fields, and interactive displays of Yichang's rural progress. An on-site exhibition and sales event highlights Zigui's achievements in e-commerce, logistics, and low-altitude economy, while promoting distinctive agricultural products.
Running through October, the festival will also launch several new rural tourism routes and host a variety of activities, such as a Village Livestreaming Contest and the “September Red” citrus-picking activity.
