Closer than ever: High-speed rail brings cities closer

Officially opened on December 26, Yichangbei Railway Station has entered service alongside the Wuhan-Yichang section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway. Wuhan, Xiangyang and Yichang have now formed a one-hour high-speed rail loop, known locally as a vital transportation "Golden Triangle.”
