Spring tea harvest in Wufeng

Farmers in Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, Yichang, are currently busy harvesting fresh tea leaves in the tea gardens as spring arrives. Wufeng, also known as the "Hometown of Famous Tea in China," is renowned for its rich tea culture and is the birthplace and primary production area of Yihong tea. The tea gardens in Wufeng span across 14,733 hectares, yielding an output value exceeding 1.2 billion yuan (US$166.7 million).
