Wetland park attracts white storks

Two graceful white storks were recently spotted at Jiajiahu Wetland Park. Classified as a National First-Class Protected Wildlife species since 1989, these rare birds symbolize fertility and good fortune in many cultures. Their presence is a good sign for Yichang’s continued ecological improvement efforts due to the species requiring a pristine habitat.
