High-speed rail testing begins on Wuhan-Yichang section

Testing for the Wuhan-Yichang section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway began on May 15. The 313-kilometer railway, built for speeds up to 350 km/h, will reduce travel time between Wuhan and Yichang from two hours to one.
