Zigui enhances reservoir protection with ship waste management

Upstream of the Three Gorges Dam, two pollutant transfer vessels are operating near Zigui Port to help protect the Yangtze River.
In the first half of this year, Zigui county handled over 41,400 cubic meters of wastewater, 990 tons of domestic waste, and 397 tons of waste oil from ships, effectively ensuring the water quality in the reservoir area.
