Green shipbuilder in full swing on booming orders

The Yidu Green Intelligent Ship Industrial Park is bustling with activity. Damen Yichang Shipyard, the park’s first tenant, is running at full capacity to fulfill an order book of 20 vessels. A multi-functional container ship bound for Germany is now in its final checks before launch. The 89-meter-long vessel features a wind-assisted propulsion system that can cut fuel use by about 40%.
