LNG refueling terminal cuts emissions on the Yangtze River

A cargo ship is refueled with liquefied natural gas (LNG) through a dedicated pipeline at this terminal, the only LNG refueling station operating year-round on the Yangtze River within the Three Gorges Reservoir area. The facility helps ships reduce annual pollutant emissions by more than 1,000 tons and can lower fuel costs by around 30 percent for vessels using LNG.
