Early-spring tea harvest begins in Zigui

The early-spring tea base in Maoping Town, Zigui County, has opened for the season as farmers begin harvesting and processing the first spring leaves. Zigui boasts 8,000 hectares of tea fields, including about 2,700 hectares dedicated to early-spring tea, which can be picked more than 20 days earlier than in other parts of the province.
