Solar panels generate clean power in tea gardens

In Zigui, rows of solar panels stand among tea gardens near the Three Gorges Project. Zigui has built solar farms on idle hillsides, low-yield tea farms, and rooftops. The county now generates 257 million kWh of clean electricity annually, saving 77,800 tons of coal and reducing CO₂ emissions by 211,900 tons.
