The third factory of CORNEX's Yichang plant began mass production of 314Ah battery cells on August 1, marking the full operation of the project.
Production started two years ago, and now all factories at the plant are operational, with the latest facility achieving mass production.

(Photo by Fu Beibei)The factory, equipped with four battery cell production lines, will produce 60,000 314Ah battery cells daily, reaching a monthly capacity of 2GWh, according to He Yong, who oversees the facility.
He noted that production schedules for the second half of the year are fully booked, indicating that the plant has reached full production capacity from the start.
Jiao Linsen, deputy general manager of Yichang Cornex New Energy Innovation Technology Co., Ltd., stated that strong market demand and improving production efficiency have led to the export of the company’s products to multiple overseas markets.
The Yichang plant's four factories, with a total of 15 production lines, operate 24 hours a day.
Meanwhile, the company’s R&D team continues to develop and test new products in response to evolving market trends.
