Three Gorges ship lift back in service

The Three Gorges ship lift has resumed operations after a 35-day maintenance period, completing over 60 tasks across seven categories. As the world's largest and most advanced ship lift, it can transport vessels with a displacement of up to 3,000 tons over the dam. Since its operation began in 2016, more than 32,000 ships have passed through, carrying over 2 million passengers and 19 million tons of cargo.
