To meet growing passenger demand, the airport has optimized its network by adding new routes and enhancing existing ones to key cities.

Thirteen airlines will operate 30 routes, connecting Yichang to 37 domestic and three international or regional destinations.

New and improved routes include Nantong-Yichang-Xishuangbanna, Shenzhen-Yichang-Nanning, Urumqi-Yichang-Xiamen, and Tianjin-Yichang-Guilin.

Yichang will maintain three or more daily flights to major hubs such as Beijing, Shenzhen, and Chengdu. Popular cities with high travel demand, such as Guangzhou, Guiyang, and Kunming, will see two daily regular flights, while tourist hotspots such as Beihai, Haikou, Hangzhou, Huizhou, Ningbo, Qingdao, and Xiamen will also see daily service.

Further expanding domestic connectivity, the airport will launch new routes from Yichang to Fuzhou, Guilin, Lanzhou, Nanning, Nantong, and Quanzhou.

Internationally, Sanxia International Airport will maintain its regular flights from Yichang to Bangkok (Thailand), Singapore, and Hong Kong (China).
