Yidu Half Marathon kicks off amid scent of citrus

The third Yidu Half Marathon kicked off today, attracting more than 5,500 runners from across China. Coinciding with the local citrus harvest season, this year’s event embraced a citrus theme and introduced a new course that winds through orange groves – a first for the competition. Along the route, runners refueled with local citrus and related products. Hu Jian won the men’s title with a time of 01:11:05 and Wang Lu claimed the women’s championship in 01:25:16.
