Local airport launches Yichang-Bangkok route

Yichang Sanxia International Airport launched the Dalian-Yichang-Bangkok route on November 10, with the inaugural flight carrying 141 passengers. It marks the first direct flight to Thailand's Suvarnabhumi Airport since the airport’s expansion in 2023.
Yichang Sanxia International Airport launched the Dalian-Yichang-Bangkok route on November 10, with the inaugural flight carrying 141 passengers. It marks the first direct flight to Thailand's Suvarnabhumi Airport since the airport’s expansion in 2023.
The Dalian-Yichang-Bangkok Suvarnabhumi route, operated by Hainan Airlines, marks the first direct flight from Yichang to Thailand's largest airport since the expansion of the Yichang aviation port in 2023.
Operated by Hainan Airlines, the route runs every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The outbound flight, HU7943, departs Dalian at 8:30 am, arrives in Yichang at 11 am, departs at 12:10 pm, and lands in Bangkok at 2:35 pm local time. The return flight, HU7944, leaves Bangkok at 3:35 pm local time, arrives in Yichang at 8 pm, departs at 9:15 pm, and lands in Dalian at 11:50 pm.
Before the airport’s major expansion in 2023, Yichang operated a direct flight to Thailand’s Don Mueang International Airport.
The new route strengthens Yichang's international air links and offers travelers greater convenience.
