Yichang holds talent recruitment event at Peking University

Yichang’s 2026 Talent Recruitment Event was held at Peking University on November 21, drawing nearly 500 university students for inquiries and job applications. Six Peking University students were appointed as “Yichang Talent Ambassadors,” helping build a bridge between university graduates in Beijing and employers in Yichang.

The event offered 1,946 high-quality job opportunities. Seven major companies, including Angel Yeast, Xingfa Group, and Yihua Group, provided 977 technology-related jobs across fields such as chemical engineering, biology, materials science, management, and marketing.
“I previously visited Yichang and was impressed by its environment and infrastructure. After learning more about its industrial planning and talent policies today, I successfully applied for a suitable position,” said Shang Pingye, a student from China Agricultural University in Beijing.
Students participate in the recruitment event.Students from 88 universities, including Peking University, Beihang University, and China Agricultural University, attended the event. A total of 480 resumes were received, with 98.7 percent from students holding master's degrees or above.
Yichang's talent recruitment campaign will continue in mid-December at Wuhan University, further strengthening cooperation between the government, universities, and enterprises.
