Constructed by CEEC China Gezhouba Group Corporation, the exhibition hall in Taipingxi Town, Yiling District, near the Three Gorges Hub, spans nearly 20,000 square meters. It aims to showcase national engineering marvels, hydropower technologies, and the legacy of the Three Gorges spirit.

Following the topping out of the main structure, the project will shift its focus to exhibition setup and smart system installation. It will employ VR, AR, and intelligent devices to create immersive experiences that digitally recreate the Three Gorges construction and modern hydropower technology.

As the world's largest hydropower project, the Three Gorges Project is vital for flood control, clean energy, and navigation. The China Gezhouba Group Corporation managed 65 percent of its construction, setting 112 world records, achieving 934 invention patents, and establishing 135 quality standards. In 2020, the Three Gorges Project received the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award.
