Zhaojun International Ski Resort opens on January 5 following a 150 million yuan upgrade, with new facilities and the launch of night skiing.
With a total investment of 150 million yuan (US$21.46 million), the resort now covers 240,000 square meters (equivalent to 33.6 standard football fields), more than doubling its previous size and enabling it to accommodate up to 6,000 visitors at a time.
A new 6,000-square-meter service center has also been built, along with 2,000 additional sets of ski equipment. Night skiing is now available, supported by 50 professional instructors offering on-site guidance.
Located in Qingfengling, Yichang City, the ski resort is about 170 kilometers from Sanxia International Airport, 150 kilometers from downtown Yichang, and 50 kilometers from Xingshan Railway Station. It is easily accessible by air, high-speed rail, and highways.
