Job fair offers 5,000 positions in Yichang

Yichang City held the 2026 Spring Employment Action Job Fair on February 4, as part of a joint employment initiative linking 11 cities across Hubei, Chongqing, and Hunan provinces.

At the fair, more than 100 companies offered over 5,000 job opportunities across key industries such as green chemicals, advanced manufacturing, tourism, and health services.

The job fair also provided one-stop employment services across 12 functional areas, including job matching, skills training, career guidance, and entrepreneurship support. Financial services and housing consultation were also available on site.

The Spring Employment Action, which will continue through March, will link Yichang with 10 cities across Hubei, Chongqing, and Hunan provinces to expand employment services. More than 200 recruitment activities will be held online and offline.

A series of targeted measures will support job creation and workforce matching, aiming to help 32,000 people find employment and ensure that 95 percent of enterprises can meet their labor demand.
