On February 9, 13 containers of lithium iron phosphate products completed export clearance at Baiyang Port in Yichang. The cargo will be shipped to Yangluo Port in Wuhan City where it will be transferred to an international cargo ship bound for South Korea.

This clearance marks the official implementation of the new one-stop customs clearance model for multimodal export transport in Hubei Province.

The rollout follows Announcement No.12 of 2026 issued by the General Administration of Customs, which aims to support the development of multimodal transportation and further facilitate customs clearance for international cargo.

Under the new system, exporters can complete a one-stop customs declaration at the departure port using a unified multimodal transport document. Cargo is then subject to unified customs supervision throughout the entire transport process.

Customs officials said the new approach helps improve connectivity between inland production areas and international shipping routes, providing stronger institutional support for the integration of inland regions into broader domestic and global logistics networks.
