From February 15 to 23 during the Spring Festival travel season, the airport will operate two international and regional passenger routes connecting to Bangkok, Thailand, and Hong Kong, based on current flight schedules. Passenger flow is expected to peak on February 15, with an estimated 500 travelers passing through the checkpoint. The busiest periods are projected between 10:20 am and 12 pm, and from 8 pm to 9:30 pm.
Since the beginning of this year, the airport has handled over 10,000 inbound and outbound passenger trips. Foreign travelers account for nearly 50 percent of the total. The primary reasons for travel include cross-border tourism and family visits. During the upcoming Spring Festival holiday, cross-border passenger numbers are expected to exceed 2,000.
In 2025, the airport has expanded its international and regional network, maintaining regular summer-autumn routes to Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Hong Kong, while resuming direct flights to Seoul.
